Haslemere Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Nash as its new Town Clerk.

Sarah, who was Haslemere Town Council’s Deputy Clerk from 2014–2017, rejoins at a significant time for both the Council and the wider local government landscape. She brings relevant experience and a strong understanding of the role town councils play in supporting local communities.  She will be starting here on 18 November 2026.

Town Mayor, Cllr Jacquie Keen, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Sarah back as Haslemere’s new Town Clerk.  She joins us at an important time, and we are confident that her experience, knowledge and commitment will greatly benefit the Council and the community we serve. On behalf of the Council, I look forward to working with her as we continue to support Haslemere, Grayswood, Hindhead and Beacon Hill through the changes and opportunities ahead.”

Sarah Nash said:

“I am delighted to be returning to Haslemere Town Council and look forward to working with councillors, staff and the local community at an important time for the Town Council, particularly as we navigate the changes arising from local government reorganisation. I am excited to contribute to the Council’s work, support the town and its residents, and help ensure Haslemere is well placed to respond positively to the changes and opportunities ahead.”
